Freshman wrestler from Somerset, NJ earns All-American honors with 8th place finish at NCWA National Championships in Daytona Beach, FL.
Led by 157lbs. NCWA Mid-East Conference Champion Shane Aletrio, Penn State Dubois finished in 2nd place and qualified six wrestlers to compete in NCWA National Championships.
Apprentie School jumped out to early lead and rolled to victory over Penn State DuBois 50-9 at Bellefonte Area High school.
Penn College was led by tournament champions Derek Leiby and Logan Gresock in PSUAC/USCAA National wrestling Invitational. Penn College over took PSU DuBois in the final round to lead the PSUAC conference schools in points 108- 98.
Apprentice School wins battle with Lindenwood-Belleville for team title 169-167. The outcome was decided by championship bout at 285lbs when Ian Jones secured a 4-3 with 1:01 riding time advantage over Jake Gregg of Lendenwood-Belleville.
The Penn State DuBois wrestlers will host Apprentice School at Bellefonte Area HS. on Saturday. The compete in PSUAC/USCAA National Wrestling Invitational on Sunday at Rec Hall.
Ten teams are set to compete at the PSUAC / USCAA Wrestling Invitational on Sunday, Feb.12th at Rec Hall. Top teams in tournament include Aprrentice School, Lindenwood-Belleville, and PSU DuBois. Wrestling starts at 11am with finals set for 3:30-4pm.

The home wrestling match against PSU New Kensington has been cancelled by New Ken's Athletic Director; due to shortage of athletes available to compete.
