DuBois baseball hosted a double header this afternoon at Showers Field against PSUAC opponent Mont Alto. Game 1 did not disappoint as a normal matchup between these two teams. Mont Alto would be first on the board early with 2 runs in the top of the 1st, but DuBois would get 1 run back in the bottom of the 1st to make it a 2-1 game. A defensive game on both sides however would see only 1 more run score in the game, but unfortunately it went to Mona Alto as they would go on to win, 3-1.
Game 2 was a little different with scoring as Mont Alto would go up 5-3 half way through the game. DuBois would get the hits and men on base, but no more runs as they would drop game 2, 7-3.
The double header for Monday has been postponed to Tuesday due to weather.
