DuBois baseball hosted a double header against Houghton College this afternoon at Stern Field. A beautiful day for a baseball game, and a great pitching duel for game 1. Jeff Romano would get the start for game 1 and pitch 7 scoreless innings before Ezeck Olinger and Brett Beith would come in for the last 2 innings of work. In the bottom of the 9th inning Corey Lehman would hit the walk off single to bring the game winning run in for the 1-0 victory.
Game 2 would be a little different story as Houghton would get 3 runs in the 1st inning. DuBois would get only 1 run for the game and would end with a split on the double headers, 10-1.
DuBois will be back in action on Friday when they travel to PSU Beaver for a double header.
