DuBois Golf concludes season and Finishes 2nd in the PSUAC
The Penn State DuBois Golf team saved one of their best performances of the year for the PSUAC and USCAA Championships this week in which the tournament was held at the Penn State Blue Course. After day one of the tournament the team was leading the pack in the PSUAC, with Gavin Kaschalk leading the team in 3rd place and Cody Fagley behind him in 13th. After a promising first day, the team needed to put together another strong performance on the second day to secure the conference championship. At the midway point on the second day, DuBois found themselves falling back into fourth place in the conference with half of the holes to go. DuBois climbed back into the top three and put together a solid finish on the day, but fell short in the comeback and took second place in the PSUAC to Penn State York who took home the championship. The team will use this as motivation for next year to chase down a PSUAC Championship in their final season at Penn State DuBois.
