Basketball falls to Beaver in both Men and Women's
It was a tough start to the second semester for both the Men and Women's Basketball teams in their conference home game on Tuesday night, falling to Penn State Beaver in their matchup. Both games had very similar starts and outcomes in the contest as Penn State Beaver came out agressive, took the lead, and managed to hold on at all cost. The women's game was all knotted up at 28 going into the half before Beaver pulled away to take the contest 71-57. The men found themselves trailing at the half by 9 before making a comeback in the second half making the score 55-55 with 6 minutes to play. Penn State Beaver found a way to create turnovers against DuBois that lead to a dunk and 3 pointer that ignited the Beavers offense to gain the momentum over DuBois as they finished the game beating DuBois 81-67. Both teams head back into conference play this weekend at home with two conference matchups against Penn State York on Friday at 6 and 8, and Penn State Mont Alto on Saturday with 1 and 3 start times.
