In a back and fourth battle for the majority of the game, Penn State DuBois falls short against the #1 team in the USCAA coaches poll. DuBois was lead by senior's Jordin Sommers, and Ashton Fortson who each had 17 points. Fortson was the story of the night here at the PAW Center on the DuBois Campus. Coming into the game, he needed just 17 points to reach a milestone of 1,000 career points. He reached this milestone in the second half of the game as DuBois made an attempt on a come back but the team fell short ending the game in a 100-83 loss. Fortson has joined former teammates and current coaches JaQuil Johnson, and Beau Verdill in this milestone. DuBois is back in action tomorrow against Penn State Mont Alto at the Paw Center with the womens game starting at 1, with the men starting at 3.
