In a postseason battle that lived up to the playoff atmosphere, the Penn State DuBois men's basketball team saw its season come to a heartbreaking end in a 102–99 overtime loss to Penn State Shenango on Sunday, February 15, 2026.
In a high-octane offensive display from both sides, the game remained a see-saw affair through 40 minutes of regulation. DuBois had oppurtunities to take the game in the final seconds of regulation but did not capitalize, that sent them into the first overtime. The first overtime didnt seem to be enough time to find a winner, which sent the game into double overtime. In double overtime, they seemed to show a balanced attack and resilient defense, but they were unable to contain Shenango's late-game heroics in the extra period. DuBois finishes the season 9-19 overall and 7-9 in conference play.
