The Penn State DuBois women's basketball team had another dominant performance over the visiting team from PSU Greater Allegheny on Saturday afternoon. Taking a 31-18 lead going into the half, DuBois held Greater Allegheny to just 25% from the field in the first half, including only 1-5 from the 3-point line.
Malliah Schreck (Emlenton, PA) had her 15th double-double of the season as she dropped in 15 points, and pulled down 14 rebounds. Sydney Shaw (Tyrone, PA) added 12 points and 9 rebounds for the Lady Lions, and Lexey Shick (Rimersburg, PA) had 8 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals.
DuBois ended the game with a 72-52 victory to seal sole possession of 3rd place in the PSUAC West division behind only PSU Fayette, and PSU Beaver. Penn State DuBois will travel to PSU Beaver on Tuesday at 6:00 pm.
