The DuBois women's basketball team hosted their first PSUAC conference matchup in the new PAW Center this evening as they took on PSU Shenango.
A slow start saw both teams struggle from the field early but would eventually heat up. Shenango would go up 17-10 after the end of the 1st quarter, but Shannon Shaw would hit a few huge 3-point shots to give DuBois the lead going into the half, 30-27.
Shenango would chip away at the lead and eventually take it over from DuBois a few injuries from the home team.
Shaw would finish the game with points off 7-19 from the 3-point line. Kelsey Stuart would add 11 points before she would have to leave with an injury, and Sarah Huston would pull down 9 rebounds for DuBois.
