Down To The Wire

The women's basketball hosted Pitt-Bradford this afternoon in the final game of the fall semester at the Paw Center in DuBois.  A Big first half put DuBois up 34-30 going into the half thanks in part to Shannon Shaw's 11-point first half performance.

DuBois came out the same in the 2^nd half, but Pitt-Bradford hit a couple extra shots to give them the lead.  DuBois continued to stay strong under the pressure, but with an injury to Kelsey Stuart and foul trouble for Frances Milliron, Pitt-Bradford would capitalize to keep that lead.  DuBois would continue to fight hard, but would end the game with the loss, 58-54.

Shaw finished the game with 14 points while Stuart and Milliron would drop in 10 and 12, respectively.  Tara Leamer, Sara Huston, and Milliron would all pull down 10 rebounds. 

DuBois will be back in action on January 10^th when they travel to Westmoreland County Commmunity College.
