Coaches Comments – "Lizzy had an effective Game 1 in the circle with 8 K's and only giving up one hit."
"Our batters really never gave their pitchers an opportunity to pitch out in front. We did a good job of being aggressive at the plate which made their pitchers uncomfortable."
"Makenzie became the first PSUD player to hit a home run at Heindl Field and became the first PSUD player to hit a grand slam at the same time."
"It's tough to beat the same team twice in one season. It's exceptionally tough to beat a team 4 straight times. We have now done that 2 straight weekends. The coaching staff is extremely happy and proud of how far this program has come in a short time. These ladies are playing good right now and they are having fun. They have their sights set on higher goals and they know it's going to be a fight all season long to attain those goals."
