Punxsutawney Area High School will continue her basketball career at the DuBois Campus of Penn State.
The 5’7” forward averaged over 10 points per game as well as 7 rebounds per game during her senior season.
Penn State DuBois Lady Lions continued their inspired play with a 56-53 road win against Penn State Schuylkill
“We played very well for 35 minutes tonight. Unfortunately, we lost our focus for a few minutes defensively and it cost us the win,”
First half lead slips away in loss in Non-Conference game.
The Lady Lions jumped out to a 37-22 halftime lead and never let the lead drop below 10 points in the second half to secure the win.
“The girls are playing as a team right now and they have all accepted the roles that best suit their abilities.” commented DuBois head coach, Pat Lewis.
“The last several games we have played very well for 30 minutes in each game. Unfortunately, we need to play well for 40 minutes each game.” stated PSUD coach Pat Lewis.
Turnovers and untimely fouls plagued PSUD in the last two minutes of the third quarter as the Butler Pioneers went on a 12-0 run to open a 56-42 lead at the end of three.
