Penn State DuBois Breaks Drought: Lady Lions Earn First Volleyball Win

After a long stretch of frustration and near-misses, the Penn State DuBois Lady Lions finally broke through—securing their first volleyball win since October 12th, 2023 that left players, and coaches all beaming. The Lady Lions came out strong winning the opening set, riding momentum into the second set where they found themselves in the drivers seat once again. With a 2-0 lead the ladies then maintained the momentum to capture the final set and take home their first win of the season. Coach Morgan mentioned that "the team was full of energy, and hustled for every point they earned". She also mentioned that "Tessa and Emily were really connecting well on the night, and the addition of Navaeh Spaeth was felt amongst the team". With this weight lifted, all eyes will be on the next match as DuBois will look to carry this momentum forward on Thursday at home against Penn State Shenango at 7pm.
